12/22/07: Happy Christmas to All!

Well here are my pics of late. Am starting to feel better at long last, yay!


I made christmas ornaments for my tree this year using my favorite Crayola modeling magic clay. I had the help of me sister as well. I am pretty happy with how cute they turned out.


And as I mentioned before I finished both stockings! Yay. You can see the insides as well as the out. For the tree one I changed the top and bottom to green since the attern had it all beige and I wanted it to go more with the other stocking. I think it worked out well.

And then I was inspired to make a little mini stocking ornament with some sock yarn I had. Made up that one myself and am thinking I will want to make a bunch more for next years ornament project :)

12/20/07: Am Sick :(

Yuckarooneys. I have so many Christmassy things I wanted to be sharing here this past week or so, but I have been hit with a stupid cold turned pink eye and is now in the form of a nasty sinus infection and it is ruining my pre-holiday prep time I must say. Oh well it could be worse. But I have a bunch of new ornaments for my tree my sis helped me make this year. I love them and will share them here soon I hope. I even finished both stockings, yay! Of course I will need to line them for next year but for now they still look nice hanging around. Am doing pretty well with the gift knitting even if I ended up scaling it back a bit. I feel ok about it which is nice. I am just hoping that by this weekend I can be up and running like almost normal and not need tissues attached top my hip. It is really getting old after 2 weeks of this stuff. Singing for choir has been really pretty from me, ha ha! And so it looks like while I have something for most people I wanted to shop for already, I have not actually hit the stores yet at all. I am saving that up for Christmas Eve, oh yeah I feel brave :-) And if I don't make it, eh, it will still be a Merry Christmas I believe.

um sleeping? throwing up? dunno never had that many if even a whole beer in one sitting. alcohol will forever taste like cough medicine to me. i try it again every so often but so far it hasn't grown on me.

i tend to talk to myself while pretending that i am talking to those in the room with me, but they know they don't have to really listen. see bet you even stopped reading by now.

um, am a bad secret keeper, when it is about myself anyway

well i have not cooked in a week at least, let alone today.

i do not frequent the nap world often. tend to get too many second winds late at night too, drat, do i sleep?

i turn it on, use it? more like ignore it.

it has been known to happen on a rare occassion.

cheating while playing uno with me is never ok!

I am obviously loving the knit Christmas Stamps available this year! Yay!

12/05/07: Socks Pairs 13 & 14

Nothing to exciting to show at the moment but I have started on 2 more pairs of socks. Both are now at the heels of the first sock. Hoping to wrap them up by the 25th of course.


I have been working on the stocking as well but had to rip back the foot twice now, grrrrr.
