I am a beginning knitter - as in - haven't started to learn yet. I'm looking for project ideas and I love this dragon scarf! Is it something a someone very new to knitting could accomplish or am I in over my head right from the start?
If you have any fast, easy project ideas for a beginner, I'd love to have them. Thanks and congratulations on an adorable scarf.

Phyllis,
Anything is possible, it would not be the simplest start but not impossible either. You might want to try knitting a plain garter stitch scarf first (knitting all rows any number of stitches) and once you have that down you will know if you feel ready to tackle something more complicated. Here is where you can get the kit when you feel ready to move forward, good luck and have fun! http://www.morehousefarm.co...

11/20/07: Finished the Dragon Scarf!
This is such a fun pattern to knit. And I love Morehouse Merino's yarn! So soft and easy on the needles. The scarf came out a little smaller than I expected, so not to be worn on a really windy day, but it is fun. This one is a gift though so I hope they like it.
