Cookies!!!

Yay finally baked in my very own oven!!! And I even had an old pal over who got to help us eat them up!!! I love exclamation points right now!!! In case you want to make these cookies here are the recipe links!!!

Cranberry Molasses Cookies

Dark Chocolate Chip Comfort Cookies

Cinnamon Roll Cookies

My favorite were the Cranberry Molasses Cookies,very easy to get a yummy gingerbread-ie cookie without having to roll out dough and cut shapes and frost!!!

The Dark Chocolate Chip Comfort Cookies have a touch of peanut butter in them so they were not overly chocolatey!!!

And the Cinnamon Roll Cookies, I did the cheat thing and used a premade sugar cookie dough :) Also was so warm at that point and I did not wait long enough to re-chill the dough that they flattened out a bit, but still tasted good!!!

Soap Candy

I had my annual Thanksgiving Craft Show this weekend at Holy Trinity Church and so I had to come up with some inventory quick :)

Today am sharing pics of the reeces pieces soaps I made. I love making the little bites and seeing the middle. And they smell of loverly chocolate and peanut butter. Fun Fun Fun.

Friendship Quilt

Ah this one is from miss Carolyn! She gave it to me a little while back but since we just moved I am showing it here now :)

My pretty friendship quilt. It is a loverly lap quilt size, but also gets used on the guest bed when people need more cover!!

Ah old crazy 80's sweaters, how I loved them!

So much so, that I might just have to head over to Anthropologie on my way home tonight :) Well we will see. But I do love orange-y, salmon-y colors a lot right now too so it is really calling me you see.

My Hawaiian Quilt

Check out the quilt my grandmother made me :) She based it on a hawaiian quilt square and just did a bunch of small ones. It is quite huge and so I am happy to say so it fits on a King sized bed! Thanks so much Baba, love it!

Happy Snoween!!!

He he, so we are without power since Saturday afternoon, they say maybe Wednesday it will be back, sweet! Not really so bad even though dropped well below freezing last night, lots of blankets keep us cozy enough. It is a fun time, not being sarcastic either I swear, driving through all the downed trees is very exciting :)

On the Street

So was walking to the train after work last week and saw that they were filming something across the way. The lights were very bright!

But truly the reason I bothered to stop and take a touristy photo was because I wanted to take a picture of this window display, that was right across the street. Just for Spikey since she now has a love of the periodic table of elements :)
