I have been a long time gone here. But up to the same old projects here and there and have lots of pics I never seem to upload. Mainly I have been watching me a lot of olympics lately and knitting a giant scarf while doing so. Am hoping to finish the scarf during the olympics so that I don't let it fall to the wayside and have another unfinished item on my hands :) Here's hoping...
Lots of fun going on here...
Pumpkin Muffins with cranberries and home made honey butter
Creating Gingerbread trees and mini houses
Pumpkin Muffins with cranberries and home made honey butter
Chocolate pretzels and ghiardelli lollipops
Making and eating pizza (so fast I forgot to take a final photo)
Soap galore! I love the stained glass effect, when held up to the light!
Here's to a fabulous 2010!
I have decided to pitch in late to this good cause. Am frantically searching for some red yarn in the stash and going to get started right away.

Visit the Red Scarf Project Blog for guidelines and scarf mailing info.
Deadline for mailing is December 15th so I better get a move on :)
Oops!!! Presenting my not so sheer poncho anymore. I tried washing in cold water on the hand wash cycle of the machine today, turns out jagger spun zephyr yarn felts even under those gentle conditions, next time I will have to wash by actual hand only!!! Even though it used to be a nice soft shoulder cover up, the fabric came out super even and pretty and so it does kinda work as a neck warmer. Not a total waste.
Picked up a really old project the other day. I believe I started this back in 2004 according to my old notes. Wow! I was almost halfway through at that point, and now I am about 65% done. It is going quickly and was easy to get back into which was a relief. I am hoping to have a really nice lapghan soon :)
Entered these babies in a little apple pie contest this weekend. It was a first time recipe for me but I think it worked out since they placed second. I will definitely make them again someday because I really liked the sour cream in them. Tonight I even baked some left over apples and sauce in an apple custard way without the crust, yum!
